Dying Wishes

The world is a bleak and dangerous place. Death is inevitable, loss is frequent. You travel across the lands seeing the worst of the world and hearing the worst of wishes. Because words have power, especially when they are falling from the tongue of a dying person. Your life has led you down a path filled with death, meaning you are very familiar with Dying Wishes. Blessings only come with terrible loss, and overcoming foes brings lasting consequences. But maybe the world isn't all bad; maybe you are searching for that glimmer of hope in the world. I wouldn't know, that’s your story to tell.

Dying Wishes is a card-based TTRPG system designed for 2-4 players on an adventure in a gritty, low-magic fantasy setting. It was made in about 3 days for Minimalist TTRPG Jam, hosted by Binary Star Games. Because I joined so late in the jam, this game is incomplete and has not been playtested. I intend on returning to create the adventure generation system, but otherwise it should be playable with a GM constructing an adventure beforehand.
